Hills Cities Spring 2007

As I have reflected on the title of this presentation I am about to make at Bethel University, I am made aware that each of us

Upcoming Speaking Engagement for Jeff Hagen
Jeff Hagen will be speaking at a May 15, 2007 event titled "The Art of Integrating Faith and Work". See more information >>

live in this dynamic balance of desiring to do well in life, provide for our family and to make a difference for Christ. The art is learning to be led by God's Spirit and to realize that we are all called to full time Christian service.

Hill Cities
In this first quarter I traveled to Alexandria in behalf of a sponsoring Christian Foundation and was amazed to see what looked like a turnout of 150 people. They asked me to speak on "How To Integrate Faith and Work."

Woodbury Lutheran held a Men’s Retreat and the Mt. Olivet Retreat Center in Farmington and they asked me to challenge them in "How To Integrate Faith and Work," and then to give some practical examples.

Noon Hour Discussions at MedNet
Todd, Suzanne, Pat and Robb at MedNet

I think it is obvious that this is becoming a real focus of those who truly want their lives to count for Christ.

There are now weekly Gatherings in 6 locations in the Twin Cities.

We are holding Noon Discussions in two companies. One, MedNet Solutions had initial four weeks just conclude. We had a great response. The leadership team (see picture) did a great job!  It always amazes me how God waits for us to create the opportunity for Him to work!

I believe this statement is very true, "at the door of opportunity always stands fear and to go through this door you have to lean forward!"

Altitude
Altitude is The Professional Christian Networking Organization in the Twin Cities. We started this to bring together those in the workplace who want to integrate their faith and work effectively.

We are holding a Free Networking Seminar at Bethel University the evening of June 12th.  You can find out more on our website.

Your prayers and financial support of this ministry allow us to make an eternal difference in our Twin Cities Business Community.  If you are interested in any of the outreach initiatives of Hill Cities, or would like to know more, please contact us
