Hill Cities, End of the Year Report - Jeff Hagen

Since the last Sunday in June we have been leading a "Discussion Series" with a group of men who have been rallying around a friend who has been diagnosed with cancer.

As you can imagine, these circumstances have helped cause our discussions to go "deeper."

A number of men are making commitments to Christ.

One of the men said, "I grew up in the church. I had an uncle that was a Priest. I went to a Parochial School, but I have never known anything of the Bible. Certainly nothing about how one can know for certain that they can have a personal relationship with Christ!"

Bibles are being purchased and now read for the first time!

There are few organizations who really go out into the workplace to help people find, "The Way."

We have finished "Discussion Series" in 5 companies and have just started another in December. One participant said at our second meeting, "I attended my daughter's Christmas play and for the first time I asked the question, could this story be true!" Opportunity has to be created before the risen Christ can work!

We co-hosted an event with KeyStone Search. This is an executive search company whose President, Bob Schoenbaum, is the Chairman of the Hill Cities Board.

We see this as part of a process of how the Lord is positioning Hill Cities in new and exciting ways!
